LOMBOK, INDONESIA

Lombok Island with a population of 2.7 million people is an island in the Lesser Sunda Islands or Nusa Tenggara which is separated by the Lombok Strait from Bali. The main city on this island is the City of Mataram.

The topography of the island is dominated by the Rinjani volcano whose height reaches 3,726 meters above sea level and makes it the third-highest in Indonesia. The southern part of the island consists mostly of arable land that is used for agriculture, commodities that are usually grown in this area include corn, rice, coffee, tobacco and cotton.

MANDALIKA

Mandalika is a tourist area covering 1,035 hectares located in Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Since 2017, Mandalika has been inaugurated as a Special Economic.

Zone (KEK) which is expected to become a fairly representative vacation spot in Lombok because it provides a variety of hotels and various recreational facilities. Mandalika is the next world-class tourism destination in Indonesia. The new destination will offer a unique experience that is different from other locations around the world. Located in the southern part of Lombok Island with more than 16 km of sparkling white sandy beaches.

The best activity to do in Mandalika is to explore the beaches, including Tanjung Aan, Seger, Gerupuk and Serenting. All of these beaches are indeed unique and beautiful, featuring

impeccable sea views and excellent waves. The whole beach is safe for various activities and is unique to each other.

It is not advisable to drink tap water in Indonesia, but bottled mineral water is safe and available everywhere. Ice in drinks is generally OK in good standard hotels and restaurants but it is best to avoid it on street stalls or in country areas.
